Organizations submitting an application for funding must have or create an account within our online application system. Once the account is created, organizations can:

  • Access saved, but not yet submitted applications
  • Submit saved applications
  • View copies and dates of submitted applications
  • Access and submit requirements (final reports, progress reports, etc.)

To access a saved application, click here.

The system sends a confirmation email when you created your password that contains a link to access your application. If you lost this email (or maybe it is in your spam folder), click here.

Go to your sign-in page, click on “Forgot your password”, enter the email address created, click on “Send Password”. Password will be sent to that email.

Throughout the application process we will communicate with you via email. For this reason, it is ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL that you give us a valid email address on your application and check this email account often. Once your grant application has been received you will receive an email confirmation. Subsequent email notifications will be sent out regarding the status of your request.

When an online proposal application is submitted to the foundation, an email is automatically generated acknowledging its receipt.

Yes. Please see What We Fund

No, you may attach your own versions of the required attachments (i.e. organizational chart, organization budget, operating budget, strategic plan). We accept the following file types:xls, xlsx, doc, docx, and pdf.

Due to the volume of requests we are unable to provide feedback regarding your proposal.  Please understand that a denied request in no way reflects the value of the program. The Sherwood Foundation® receives numerous requests each year and must make difficult decisions in establishing priorities.

All grant confirmation emails are sent automatically through the online grants software. Please check your spam email or junk email to make sure the notification was not blocked.  If you did not receive a confirmation email, you may contact us at info@sherwoodfoundation.org. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
