The Sherwood Foundation is committed to improving child and family welfare through community investments in the following areas:

Formerly the Susan A. Buffett Foundation, The Sherwood Foundation limits grants to not-for-profit organizations serving Omaha, Nebraska. Occasionally grants are made outside the Greater Omaha Region to organizations that have a working relationship with the foundation. In addition, The Sherwood Foundation supports early childhood education on a regional and national basis through The Buffett Early Childhood Fund.
